procedure
When you arrive for your initial consultation, one of our highly skilled practitioners will examine the areas of concern and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. Kybella™ will be delivered into targeted areas of the chin area through a series of precise injections. The solution is composed of a molecule (deoxycholic acid) that is natural to the human body. This molecule typically works to break down dietary fat. As part of the Kybella™ solution, it targets excess fat cells under the chin and destroys them. The fat cells will exit the body through natural processes over time.
Patients typically report little pain during the procedure, and the treatment areas can be numbed to minimize discomfort. While a single session may be sufficient to provide the desired results, some patients may need up to four once-monthly treatments to optimize the effects. When the treatments are complete, the fatty tissue affected by Kybella™ should be dissolved.
Kybella™ is indicated for individuals 18 years of age or older, who are in good general health, and who desire treatment for a double chin.
