Whitney Carmichael, PA-C
Whitney attended the University of Florida and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences. In 2013, she received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida. After graduation she completed five years of working in emergency medicine at UF Health/Shand’s Hospital, a large level 1 trauma center which is recognized among the nation’s best hospitals.
Her specialized training in in critical care emergency medicine includes, ultrasound guided placement of arterial lines for emergency medical resuscitation, bedside ultrasound for trauma and ultrasound guided paracentesis.
She will be performing Vein treatments including RF Closure, Venacure Endolaser, Venaseal and Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy in addition to Spider Vein Sclerotherapy and lasers.
Whitney has a passion for staying fit and healthy and is an avid Cross-Fit enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs on the weekends.
