We have been using Thermage® equipment for approximately four years now. Where we find it works the best is – tightening under the chin and on the mid face region. You can actually take about five years off of the person’s appearance just by tightening these areas. Some people response slightly better than other people do with it. This procedure you see the end results two months after the procedure is performed, but it is a lot of energy that goes in and heats the underlying connective tissue and actually shrinks and tightens the skin. Thermage is an extremely safe procedure. There is some discomfort while the procedure is being performed. It is performed up to where the patient tolerates the procedure, and it takes approximately one hour to do a face with thermage, and you see a little bit of initial tightening when the procedure is initially finished.
