Stunning Lift – Lower Face Lift
Our Stunning Lift is a lower face lift surgery procedure that can be performed right here in our office. This procedure is designed for patients who are experiencing more subtle signs of age in the face, and is often ideal for those who desire a more defined jawline and removal of excess skin that causes the appearance of jowls. Dr. Fakhre will make an incision following the ear’s natural curve and extending upward toward the hairline. Excess skin is removed, and the remaining skin and underlying muscles of the mid- and lower face is tightened. The result is a smoother appearance to the lower face with a more defined contour.

Traditional Facelift
A traditional facelift typically begins with incisions made at the temples, above the hairline. The incisions will extend to the front of the ear, or inside the front-ear cartilage going to the back of the earlobe. Typically, any scarring from a traditional facelift is well-hidden under the hairline. Dr. Fakhre will separate facial skin and fat from underlying muscles, and then tighten the muscles. The excess skin is removed, and the remaining skin is tightened for a smoother, less-wrinkled appearance. The incisions are closed, and the procedure is then complete.
Most traditional facelift surgeries take about two to three hours to perform, depending on the extent of the procedure. Facelift surgery can be performed on an outpatient basis.

Facelift Recovery
Recovery from a full facelift procedure will entail some bruising and swelling after surgery; however, any pain and discomfort can be managed with medication. Dr. Fakhre will advise you to keep the head elevated for a few days following surgery, and patients will often be required to wear bandages on the face for a few days while the face heals. Most patients can resume normal daily activities after about 10 days after facelift surgery.

Neck Lift
The effects of aging, weight loss, and sun exposure can often cause the skin of the neck to lose elasticity, giving it a sagging, wrinkled appearance. A neck lift can correct this and give the neck a smoother, more youthful appearance. Dr. Fakhre will make an incision behind the ears and under the chin, and then remove excess skin in the neck region. The remaining skin is tightened, and Dr. Fakhre may also tighten underlying neck muscles as well. The incisions are then closed. Neck lift surgery usually takes about three hours or less and can be performed as an outpatient.
Neck Lift Recovery
Patients can typically expect some degree of bruising and swelling for a few days after neck lift surgery. Any residual pain and discomfort can be alleviated with medication. In order to stabilize the neck and reduce swelling, Dr. Fakhre will likely provide you with a compression garment and a small drain to use for a short period after surgery. Most patients are able to return to normal daily routines about one to two weeks after neck lift surgery.
