Brow Lift Procedure
Brow lift surgery can correct the appearance of furrows, wrinkles, and saggy skin in the forehead region that can make us appear older than we really are. Dr. Fakhre will begin the procedure with a discreet incision just above the hairline. He will then remove excess fat and skin, and tighten the remainder along with the underlying muscles. This should create a much smoother, more youthful appearance. Any residual scarring from a brow lift procedure is often virtually invisible and easily hidden under the hairline.
Alternatively, a flat, dissolvable Endotine device can be placed through an upper eyelid incision to lift and secure the eyebrow in a slightly higher position. The Endotine device works well to lift the brow without giving the patient a surprised look. Brow lift surgery can be performed on an outpatient basis, and typically takes less than three hours to complete.

Brow Lift Recovery
Patients can expect some swelling, bruising, and numbness after a brow lift, but this should dissipate in the days following the procedure. Pain and discomfort can be controlled with medication. Dr. Fakhre will advise you to keep the head elevated for several days after surgery. Normal daily routines can usually be resumed about 7 to 10 days after a brow lift. Strenuous activities and those that increase blood pressure should be avoided for several weeks after the procedure.
