Juvéderm™
Recently approved by the FDA, Juvéderm™ is a cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid. Juvéderm™ injectable filler may be a good option for patients who wish to diminish deep folds or creases in the face, or who would like to augment their lips. For even more dramatic effect, many patients choose to combine Juvéderm™ filler with BOTOX® Cosmetic. While BOTOX® Cosmetic paralyzes underlying muscles to achieve a wrinkle-free appearance, Juvéderm™ fills them in.

Radiesse®
Radiesse® is ideal for the treatment of lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. These lines are typically above the mouth, running from the nose to the corners of the upper lip (nasolabial folds), or pointing down from the corner of the mouth towards the chin (marionette lines). Radiesse® is also FDA-approved for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (facial lipoatrophy). Radiesse® works with your body, below the skin’s surface, to stimulate the production of collagen and encourage tissue regeneration. Sculptra™
Sculptra™ is an injectable filler that reduces facial lines and wrinkles and restores lost volume. Used for the treatment of facial lipoatrophy (or facial fat loss), Sculptra™ causes a gradual increase in skin thickness. Although the results of Sculptra™ treatment may take four to six weeks to become noticeable, they are long lasting. The Sculptra™ patient may return home minutes after the procedure.
Clinical studies have shown that the enhancing effects of Sculptra™ can last up to two years. Results gradually become evident over the course of a few weeks. Since Sculptra™’s results are temporary (up to two years), treatments have to be repeated in future years to maintain the benefit. Touch-up treatments may be required up to six times every six weeks to achieve an optimal result. ArteFill®
For those desiring enduring beauty, we offer the first and only FDA-approved permanent filler for facial wrinkles and folds. Also available at our Tampa, Florida office, ArteFill® is an excellent treatment option for patients who wish to reduce the appearance of the deep lines that run from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth, also known as nasolabial folds. ArteFill® offers both immediate and long-lasting results; not only does it act as a dermal filler, but its microspheres stimulate the body to produce its own collagen.
Studies have shown that patients who received an ArteFill® injection showed an improvement in the nasolabial folds five years after treatment. Collagen or fat injections, however, typically last only a few months since the enzymes of the injections begin to break down soon after treatment. Lip Augmentation
Are your lips unevenly shaped, too thin or just not the way you would love them to look? Juvéderm™ cannot only be very effective in filling in deep lines and wrinkles, but it can also provide you with fuller lips that look more youthful and contoured. During lip augmentation, an ultra-fine needle containing the Juvéderm™ solution is injected into the lips to add volume and a more defined contour. A topical numbing agent is applied prior to treatment to keep you comfortable during your lip transformation. The treatment takes no longer than 15-20 minutes. Some swelling is normal immediately after but fades away within a few days leaving you with the perfect shape and size to your lips. With Juvéderm™ for lip enhancement, results can last from six months to a year or more, and can be maintained with follow-up treatment.
