Juvéderm™
Recently approved by the FDA, Juvéderm™ is a cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid. Juvéderm™ injectable filler may be a good option for patients who wish to diminish deep folds or creases in the face, or who would like to augment their lips. For even more dramatic effect, many patients choose to combine Juvéderm™ filler with BOTOX® Cosmetic. Wile BOTOX® Cosmetic paralyzes underlying muscles to achieve a wrinkle-free appearance, Juvéderm™ fills them in.
Dr. Hunt uses Juvéderm™ injectable gel under the skin to provide a smooth, natural look and feel. Restylane®
Another popular, non-surgical injectable facial treatment, Restylane®, is also effective in hiding the effects of aging. Formulated from hyaluronic acid, a compound that occurs naturally in the body, Restylane® not only fills facial lines and wrinkles but also adds moisture and lubrication. Once injected, the hyaluronic acid molecules in Restylane® naturally draw in water and cause the tissue beneath facial lines and wrinkles to swell. This immediately fills out wrinkles and gives the skin a smoother surface. The result is a younger looking face in minutes.
Performed at our Tampa, Florida office, Restylane® treatments can take anywhere from a few minutes to a half hour. Patients are able to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Sculptra™
Sculptra™ is an injectable filler that reduces facial lines and wrinkles and restores lost volume. Used for the treatment of facial lipoatrophy (or facial fat loss), Sculptra™ causes a gradual increase in skin thickness. Although the results of Sculptra™ treatment may take four to six weeks to become noticeable, they are long lasting. The Sculptra™ patient may return home minutes after the procedure.
Clinical studies have shown that the enhancing effects of Sculptra™ can last up to two years. Results gradually become evident over the course of a few weeks. Since Sculptra™’s results are temporary (up to two years), treatments have to be repeated in future years to maintain the benefit. Touch-up treatments may be required up to six times every six weeks to achieve an optimal result. ArteFill®
For those desiring enduring beauty, we offer the first and only FDA-approved permanent filler for facial wrinkles and folds. Also available at our Tampa, Florida office, ArteFill® is an excellent treatment option for patients who wish to reduce the appearance of the deep lines that run from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth, also known as nasolabial folds. ArteFill® offers both immediate and long-lasting results; not only does it act as a dermal filler, but its microspheres stimulate the body to produce its own collagen.
Studies have shown that patients who received an ArteFill® injection showed an improvement in the nasolabial folds five years after treatment. Collagen or fat injections, however, typically last only a few months since the enzymes of the injections begin to break down soon after treatment. Radiesse®
Radiesse® is ideal for the treatment of lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Silikon®
Lip augmentation enhances the contour and fullness of lips for a younger, healthier appearance. Well-defined, plump lips are subject to sagging as we age. This problem is especially noticeable in women with naturally thin lips. Lip augmentation is appropriate for patients who wish to enhance the lips they are born with and for patients who wish to restore the lips aging takes away. At Stunning Looks™ Medi Spa, we utilize Silikon® for the safe lip augmentation. There is an initial treatment followed by a touch-up at one month. This product appears to last for at least seven years.

Evolence®
Evolence® is one of the newest dermal fillers available at our Tampa, Florida-area practice. This FDA-approved injectable treatment fills in facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds using a substance that is designed to mimic natural collagen. In fact, the advanced collagen compound that makes up Evolence® is so similar to natural collagen, there is no need for an allergy test. Plus, results are immediate and typically require only one treatment session to achieve the desired results. Evolence® is extremely effective at smoothing out facial skin or adding volume to collagen-depleted areas, giving you a more youthful aesthetic and improved facial contours. WHAT IS EVOLENCE®?
Used to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and folds, EVOLENCE® is a dermal filler made of purified porcine collagen. This collagen is crosslinked via GLYMATRIXTM technology, which helps the results last as long as possible.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM EVOLENCE®?
Patients who have lost collagen in facial areas frequently exhibit signs of moderate to deep wrinkles and folds. EVOLENCE® provides a soft, supportive foundation to fill these areas and smooth out the skin. WILL A SKIN TEST BE NECESSARY PRIOR TO BEING TREATED WITH EVOLENCE®?
You will not be required to take a skin test before being treated with EVOLENCE® collagen filler. Studies have shown that any reactions to the treatment are very rare, and mild if they occur. When injected, the body recognizes EVOLENCE® as human collagen.
HOW DOES EVOLENCE® WORK?
As we get older, the level of collagen in our skin depletes, causing the appearance of wrinkles and folds. EVOLENCE® restores collagen in the dermal layer of the skin and fills in the depleted areas.
HOW IS EVOLENCE® COLLAGEN FILLER INJECTED?
EVOLENCE® is administered with a fine needle directly into the targeted area of skin, replacing lost collagen beneath the wrinkle or fold and creating a smoother appearance.
IS THERE PAIN INVOLVED?

HOW FAST WILL I SEE RESULTS?

EVOLENCE® is so effective, it may only take one treatment session to meet your goals. We will follow up with you in the weeks after your EVOLENCE® treatment to measure the success of your results. Future “touch-up” treatments can be scheduled to maintain the effects of EVOLENCE®.
HOW LONG WILL RESULTS LAST?
Typically, the length of time results of EVOLENCE® will last depends on each patient, as well as the amount of EVOLENCE® that was used in the treatment. The effects of EVOLENCE® generally last at least six months, and some clinical studies have shown results that have lasted up to a year.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY EVOLENCE® TREATMENT SESSION?
You may experience some redness, swelling, and discomfort right after your EVOLENCE® treatment; however, these side effects are generally very mild and dissipate quickly. EVOLENCE® was associated with minimal to no swelling or bruising following the procedure done in studies.
